The Company

Founded in 1965, Greenville Community Theater (GCT) is a community theater company based in Scarsdale, New York. GCT produces two fully-staged shows a year at Edgemont High School - an attractive, comfortable and well-appointed theater of 304 seats. We present five or six performances per play over two weekends. More info....

Shows

GCT staffs each play with an experienced Director, Stage Manager, Production Manager, and Set Designer. Other members head up committees that build, paint and decorate the set and provide lighting, sounds, props, costumes, makeup, playbill, publicity, photography, flyers, and front-of-the-house amenities. Sometimes as many as 80 members contribute to a show's success.

The spring production, Fourplay, for the first time ever, will consist of four original one act plays: Fallen Angels by Jean Eifert, directed by Frank Rakas; Getting Played by Judy Klass, directed by Michael Ferrara; Happy Days Are Here Again by Bruce Bloom, directed by Stewart Hanges; and Waiting by Michael Ferrara, directed by Jean Eifert. Workshops

GCT workshops are performed each month, following the monthly business meeting, at the Greenville School in Scarsdale. The next workshop, which will take place on May 18th, will be an open mic night. All are welcome to perform for the group. More info....
